I take it back ... she can tell time and read a calendar just fine but apparently had her own ideas of the perfect birthday and wouldn't be held to a "due date" or appointment for induction!

Sunday night we checked into the hospital after a few calls throughout the day to the on-call doctor (HI!! Me again ... ). Early Monday morning the doctor started the pitocin, then mom ordered up the epidural and by 4:45pm we were pushing. Dad did a great job not only staying conscious but also actually helping the nurses as there were a couple of deliveries going on at the same time. At 5:54pm Annie announced her arrival LOUDLY and kept it up for quite some time. What a screamer, but what a wonderful sound! We are completely in love with her!
